Incumbent Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand could be next CIC?

The incumbent Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand Radha Raturi could be the new Chief Information Commissioner (CIC). The post is lying vacant for a significant period now. The Chief Secretary is completing her extended period by the end of this month. Uttarakhand has a relatively smaller cadre of IAS officers, and it is not always an easy option to choose someone for the Chief Secretary post. In case Radha Raturi is not granted an extension, she is expected to be the next Chief Information in the state.
