India to establish Embassy in Timor Leste
At the ASEAN-India Summit in Jakarta, Prime Minister Modi announced the decision to establish an Indian Embassy in Dili, Timor-Leste. This decision was warmly welcomed by Timor Leste and ASEAN Members. Timor Leste joined ASEAN in 2022 as an Observer, before becoming its full Member.
