In Jharkhand, a few officers of two batches were promoted but others of the same batch were left out. According to the information, Mukesh Lunayat, K Vijay Shankar and Manoj Swargiyari of the 2018 batch of the Jharkhand cadre were promoted to the rank of SP but Harvinder Singh of this batch is still working as ASP. Similarly, the government promoted Shubhanshu Jain of the 2019 batch to the rank of SP. But Rishabh Garg, Sumit Kumar Aggarwal and Kapil Chaudhary are still awaiting the promotion. And now the IPS officers are discussing, whether the Government is flouting promotion norms?
