Insurance Ombudsman including ex-IAS officers selected for various centres

Eight new Insurance Ombudsman have been selected for various centres across the country. Atul Sahai, former CMD, New India Assurance, was selected for Lucknow, while former IAS officers Manoj K Parida, Bimbadhar Pradhan and Sumeet Jerath have been selected for Bhubaneswar, Noida and Delhi regions respectively. Similarly, C Vikas Rao was selected for Ahmedabad; Kiran Sahdev LIC was selected for Kolkata; Susmita Mukherjee, former NIA Director, for Patna and Sunil Jain, former Principal Commissioner, Customs, has been selected for the Pune region. Besides, Ajit Kumar and C R Vijayan have been recommended as reserves for the Lucknow region; Pramod Kumar Das and Pradeep Kumar Jain for Bhubaneswar; Ms Sunita Sharma and Devesh Kumar Misra for Delhi; Ms Amita Prasad and Ms Neera Saxena for Noida; Ms Tajinder Mukherjee and Siddhartha Pradhan for Kolkata; Prabhash Shankar and Gurpreet Singh Chawla for Ahmedabad; Malay Kumar Poddar and Navin Prakash Sinha for Patna and Debkumar Banerjee and P Venugopal are reserve candidates for Pune region.
