IPS Avijeet Kumar Ranjan making Katni a Safe Place for Women and Free from Drug Abuse

IPS Avijeet Kumar Ranjan, is a 2014 Batch Officer and is currently posted as Superintendent of Police (SP) in Katni,MP .Known for his Fearless and people centric approach, His mission for the district is to safeguard women and combat narcotics related crime. “These two are our priority sectors—women and narcotics," he stated.

To tackle crime against women and address cases of missing girls and children, Ranjan has implemented systematic monitoring checks. “Regular attendance checks are carried” he said.This helps in early identification,enabling prompt action in case of missing person reports.

Under his leadership, more than 1,000 missing women and girls have been recovered in the past year.Additionally “In the entire history of Katni district, the highest number of actions against narcotics related crimes have been taken in the last two years.”

With a clear vision,Ranjan aims to make Katni a safe place for women and free from drug abuse.
