IPS-IFS couple of UP cadre retiring same month in May

A couple of different services from Uttar Pradesh cadre are retiring in the same month. Mrs A Neeraja, Secretary, National Commission for Backward Classes, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment on deputation in Government of India and her husband P V Rama Sastry, DG, Prisons Administration and Reforms in the cadre Uttar Pradesh are retiring on May 31, 2025. Mrs Neeraja belongs to a 1990 batch IFS officer while Sastry is an IPS officer of 1989 batch of Uttar Pradesh cadre.
