IPS Mahendra Pandit’s Mission to Safeguard Kolhapur Citizens from Ponzi & Digital Arrest Scams

IPS Mahendra Pandit is a 2013 Batch Officer of Maharashtra cadre and is currently posted as Superintendent of Police in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. His mission for the district is to safeguard citizens from Financial frauds.

Recognising the growing threat of Ponzi Schemes and digital scams in today’s era, he emphasised the importance of public awareness “We are actively creating awareness among citizens in my district regarding Ponzi schemes that are linked to economic offenses,” says Pandit.

Additionally he is focused on tackling the growing challenge of ‘digital arrests’ Where fraudsters impersonate law enforcement officials to extort money. “People are losing their money in these scams” he says.

Through public campaigns and digital outreach he aims to build a more financially aware and vigilant society in Kolhapur.
