IPS officer goes to HC

In UP, JL Tripathi, DG, Civil Defence, has approached the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad HC against the state govt's decision. It is a said that his name has reportedly not been included in the panel which has been sent to the UPSC for the selection of new DGP. In his appeal Tripathi has charged that he is the third IPS officer in the seniority but the govt ignored him and send the names of those junior to him. Court will hear his application on January 27.
