IPS officers of 1997 batch in Haryana dejected, here is why

The 1997 batch of IPS officers have been promoted in all the IPS cadres in the country but Haryana is the lone state, where officers are still awaiting to be elevated despite being eligible for the promotion for the last two years. Surprisingly, the previous and after batches have been promoted. The reasons are said to be the non-availability of vacancies and the creation of ex-cadre posts for which Haryana Government is in firing line.
