IPS officers of 2009 batch in Jharkhand likely to be promoted soon

The three IPS officers of 2009 batch in Jharkhand are likely to be promoted soon. These officers have completed 14 years of service. The officers include Sanjay Ranjan Singh, Indrajit Mahatha and Sanjeev Kumar. The state government promoted IPS officers of the 2005 batch to IG rank on 29 December 2022. Also, nine IPS of the 2010 batch have got a promotion in selection grade. But the 2009 batch IPS have not yet been promoted. But the sources told that the promotion of these officers is in final stage and may happen any time soon.
