IPS officers reshuffled in W Bengal

IPS officers in W Bengal have been reshuffled and handed over new assignments. Debasmita Das has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters), Bidhannagar Police, while Surya Pratap Yadav takes over as Deputy Commissioner (Special), Kolkata Police Detective Department and Amitabha Maiti is now Special Superintendent (SS), State Intelligence Bureau. Similarly, Pradeep Kumar Yadav will be posted as SP, Malda; Dhritiman Sarkar as SP, Diamond Harbour; Avijit Banerjee as SP Ranaghat police district; Ranaghat Sayak Das as Special Superintendent, State CID; Vaibhav Tiwari as SP, Bankura and Pushpa was made the new SP of Baruipur.
