IREL (India) signs MoU with UKTMP JSC, Kazakhstan

IREL (India) Limited, a CPSE under Department of Atomic Energy, the largest producer of Ilmenite in India, signed an MoU with Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium and Magnesium Plant (UKTMP JSC) Kazakhstan, for production of Titanium Slag in India.  IREL and UKTMP JSC have agreed to work towards creation of joint venture for titanium slag production plant in Odisha. The MoU was signed on October 14, 2020 virtually by D Singh, CMD of IREL and Ms A T Mamutova, President of UKTMP JSC, A R Sule, JS (I&M) DAE, Prabhat Kumar, Ambassador of India in Kazakhstan, A Erzhanov, Vice-Minister of Industry of Kazakhstan, E Alimbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan and S Gehler, Chairman of Board of Directors of UKTMP JSC.
