IREL (India) Limited, a CPSE under the Department of Atomic Energy has bagged the National Safety Award Mines for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020. IREL’s plant in Manavalakurichi, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu has won the First Prize for Longest Accident Free Period for the year 2019. Chairman & Managing Director, IREL received the award from Minister of Labour & Employment, Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav in a function organized in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi recently. The other awards received by IREL were Runner in Lowest Injury Frequency Rate for the year 2018 and 2020.
