IRS officers still waiting for empanelment as JS

DoPT repeatedly writes to various departments and ministries of GoI to forward more and more names of officers under CSS, but officers of many services are sore over their exclusion. According to sources, IRS officers, IT & C&CE, from 1997 onwards are yet to be empanelled as JS in GoI whereas officers of some services till 2000 and 2001 have been empanelled as JS in GoI.
