Is 1987 batch IPS dumped or overlooked?
In the IPS circles there is a talk that the 1987 batch IPS has either been dumped or overlooked in the top postings in the GoI. This batch seems to be a non favourite of the GoI. Three 1988 batch IPS officers have been assigned important positions ignoring the 1987 batch.
