Is govt changing mind over new Ambassador to France?

Jawed Ashraf is yet to assume charge as India’s Ambassador to France. He is currently India’s High Commissioner to Singapore and his appointment as Ambassador to France was announced in February 2020. Now speculations going on are that Govt may be thinking of appointing somebody else as Ambassador to France as it's been nearly four months now and the new Ambassador has not assumed charge.
