Jawaid Akhtar given additional charge of Health (Medical Education) Department in Karnataka

In a major reshuffle, Karnataka Government has shifted many IAS officers. According to the order, Jawaid Akhtar, 1989 batch, who was Additional Chief Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department has been given the additional charge of Health and Family Welfare Department (Medical Education). After he joins the duty, Naveen Raj Singh will be relieved. BC Sateesha, 2012 batch, who was Deputy Commissioner, Kodagu district has been transferred as Executive Director, Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust. He will relieve Dr Shiva Shankara N, who was in additional charge. Dr Gopal Krishna HN, 2012 batch, who was waiting for the posting has been placed as Joint Director, (Reforms)Karnataka Municipal Data Society. He will be relieving Ms Preeti Gehlot from additional charge.
