Jayant Singh, presently on deputation to Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) as Vice Chairman, has been selected for deputation to the post of Adviser, NITI Aayog, for a combined tenure of five years, which is up to April 29, 2026. He is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer.
