Jayant Singh, who is presently on deputation to NITI Aayog as Adviser, has been selected for deputation as Chairperson, Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI), to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for a period of five years. He is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer.
