Ajay Narayan Jha, is now Secretary, Expenditure in the Ministry of Finance. He was appointed OSD in the ministry and after retirement of Ashok Lavasa he took over the charge of Department of Expenditure. He is a Manipur cadre 1982 batch IAS officer.
