Jharkhand: Failing appointment from Governor, official delegation submits memo to the security officers

A five-member delegation of the Jharkhand government’s state coordination committee (SCC) had gone to hand over a memorandum to the governor C.P. Radhakrishnan  but in his absence, it was handed over to the security guards, posted outside the Raj Bhavan. The memorandum urged governor to send observations on three important bills which had been returned by the Raj Bhavan earlier. The delegation members had emailed and also given a letter at Raj Bhavan seeking an appointment with the Governor. But when the delegation reached Raj Bhavan, the Governor was not available. So, the delegation had to hand over the memorandum at the gate. The SSC has been formed by the three ruling ally parties in Jharkhand – Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and JMM.
