Jharkhand Government removes Secretary level IAS officer

The Jharkhand Government has removed an IAS officer after issuing 4 show cause notices to him. This 2005 batch IAS officer had allegedly tempered with the Cabinet note without the knowledge of his superiors. . However, this Secretary level officer did not respond to any of the notices. Subsequently, he was removed and now, he is awaiting new posting. Tempering with the Cabinet note was raised at various levels following which the action was taken.
