JNPT observes a week-long vigilance awareness week
Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), India’s No.1 Container Port, Observed a week-long Vigilance Awareness Week at JNPT headquarters from October 27 to November 2, 2020.During this week various competitions like Essay writing, Slogan Writing and Elocution took were organised for JNPT employees.
Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), India’s No.1 Container Port, Observed a week-long Vigilance Awareness Week at JNPT headquarters from October 27 to November 2, 2020.During this week various competitions like Essay writing, Slogan Writing and Elocution took were organised for JNPT employees. All employees took pledge on October 27, 2020 at 11.00 am, on October 30, 2020. An interactive meeting was held with Port Users on October 30, 2020. A workshop on “Cartel Bid rigging Competitive Procurement was conducted by Anil Ramteke, Chief Vigilance Officer on October 23, 2020. Arun Mehta, IRSS was invited as Guest Faculty for the workshop on Legal aspects of Procurement and Do’s and Dont’s of Procurement and works. Apart from this, JNPT also organised narratives on “Vigilant India, Prosperous India”(सतरà¥à¤• à¤à¤¾à¤°à¤¤ समृदà¥à¤§ à¤à¤¾à¤°à¤¤)” on one of the top radio channels, namely Radio Mirchi, Radio City, Red FM, and Big FM on October 29, 30, 31, 2020 and November 2, 2020 respectively. The eventful week ended on 2nd November with a valedictory function, held at JNPT Training Centre. Prizes were announced to winners of various competitions. The Chief Guest of the event, Sanjay Sethi, IAS, Chairman, JNPT addressed the function and stressed on Integrity, digitalization, technology and other initiatives to root out corruption in society. Chief Vigilance Officer, Anil Ramteke, IRSS, also graced the function. The function was attended by HoDs and Prize winners maintaining social distancing.
