JNPT revamps and launches official website

The Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), the number one container Port in India, has revamped its official website to provide, better user interface, reader friendly format for daily chart & updates, well defined sections with relevant and articulate information and easy navigation across all the pages on the website. The website ( www.jnport.gov.in ), in its new avatar makes it easy and convenient for users to track any Port related information quicker and with minimum hassle.Speaking on the launch, Sanjay Sethi, IAS, Chairman, JNPT said, “The corporate website plays a very important role in the present day dynamic business environment wherein we interact with domestic and international players alike, because very often the portal is the first point of contact any prospective client makes with the brand. So it is imperative that the portal exhibits the same ethos and appeal, as that of the brand.Secondly, the website is also like a library of information for all our relevant stakeholders and they must find the website easy, convenient and useful to source any relevant information. Hence we revamped our website to make it more customer-friendly and also to reflect the transformational journey underway at JNPT.
