Joint initiative of Microsoft, Tribal Ministry for Digital Transformation of schools

Microsoft has inked an MoU with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs to support the digital transformation of schools such as Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) and Ashram Schools. Microsoft will train educators and students in next-generation technologies including Artificial Intelligence. Microsoft has adopted 250 EMRS and 50 EMRS schools will be given intensive training. In the first phase, 500 master trainers will be trained.
