Joint Secretaries in MHA financially empowered
The Joint Secretary level officers working with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) have been empowered to take decisions on expenditure upto Rs 50 crore apart from allowing tender up to Rs 20 crore and procurement through negotiated or single tender or proprietary contract up to Rs 5 crore.
