Informed sources do not rule out the possibility of Gujarat Principal Chief Conservator of Forest & Head of the Forest Force (PCCF & HoFF) Dr Jaipal Singh’s appointment as DG Forests in the GoI. He is a 1991 batch IFS officer of Gujarat cadre.
