Rumours are high that after superannuation of Enforcement Director Karnail Singh, Seemanchal Das will succeed him. He is a 1988 batch IRS-IT officer and presently posted as Principal Special Director, ED and is the senior most officer in ED. He was PS to Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister for long time.
