Present Mumbai Police Commissioner who has spent 25 years in the IB is incidently retiring on September 1.In case 1982 batch IPS officer Padsalgikar is given extension in service he may be appointed IB Chief on this two years tenure post.Some RSS leaders are reported to have floated this theory.
