The Kerala Government has created two ex-cadre posts of the rank Inspector General of Police (IGP) and Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG). According to the order, the post of IG, Kerala Human Rights Commission has been created for a period of one year. The post is equivalent to the cadre post of IG, Headquarters. Similarly, a post of DIG, Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has been created, equivalent to the cadre post of DIG, Administration. This post is also created for a period of one year.
