Kerala launches Blue Economy Conclave 2025

Kerala launched the Blue Economy Conclave 2025, titled “Blue Tides - Two Shores, One Vision,” in collaboration with the European Union (EU) and Government of India. Hosted by the Department of Fisheries, Kerala, the multi-day event (starting September 18) focuses on sustainable ocean-based economic growth. Key areas include EU-Kerala partnerships in marine logistics, fisheries, aquaculture, coastal tourism, renewable marine energy, and green technologies. It promotes skill development, academic collaborations, labor mobility, policy innovation, joint R&D, and startup ecosystems. This aligns with national Blue Economy goals, emphasizing inclusive coastal development.
