A 1985 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre Ajay Kumar is scheduled to retire in October. Agewise Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains who has been empanelled to the rank of Secretary in the GoI is senior to Ajay Kumar. He retires only on November 30.
