Key positions in 2025 (6) CBDT Chief ending tenure this year
1988 batch IRS officer, has been the Chairman of the CBDT from July 1, 2024 up to the date of his superannuation on September 30, 2024. After that he was re-appointed on contract basis up to June 30, 2025. After his term expires, the Government will be looking for a new CBDT Chief.
