Law Ministry preparing electoral college

Law Ministry has been given the responsibility to prepare the electoral college for the forthcoming presidential election. The said work is likely to be completed in a couple of days. Sources said that since there is no existence of the J&K assembly therefore voting will also not be held in J&K. Under this, the assigned department prepares a list of MPs, MLAs (law makers) who will vote in the presidential election. This voter list is put in the electoral college. This terminology is used only in the President's elections.
