Lockdown & vacancy of PESB Chairman hinder Board level selection in PSUs

The selections for more than six dozen vacancies at Board level in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have been affected badly - partly because of long time Covid-19 lockdown and partly because of vacancy of Chairman, Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) since September 1, 2020. The Government of India is yet to depute a candidate to the post of Chairman, PESB so as to streamline the selection process.
