Long waiting for govt accommodation

CoronaVirus pandemic and lockdown has created a big problem for both types of govt servants: retired and serving. According to information, since March a large number of officials, retired or transferred, are yet to vacate the govt houses. Many are got to stay on vacation till July or till situation normalizes because there is limited transport available. On the other hand new officers, who were transferred between Feb to June, have taken over at new places. Earlier officials were supposed to get accommodation in two to three months but many are in the queue since March, 2020.
