The posting of Kulwant Singh as Principal Director, Audit in Indian Embassy, Washington has raised eyebrows in power galleries. This is his second foreign posting in seven years. According to sources normally, no officer is posted abroad twice. That too in such a short time period. Earlier, he was posted in the same capacity in London for two years from July 2014. This lucky officer got this opportunity again whereas many officers in the CAG could not get even one posting. He is a 1999 batch IA&AS officer and presently posted as Pr Director (International Relations) in CAG. He will report to his new assignment on August 9, 2021.
