M Nageswar Rao moves from CBI - now DG, Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guard

Mystery shrouds the  shifting of once Interim CBI boss M Nageswar Rao. Additional Director, CBI Rao has been appointed as Director General, Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guard at Additional Director General level. He is a 1986 IPS officer of Odisha cadre. The post of DG, Fire Services has been downgraded to the rank of an Additional Director General and Rao has been posted there till his superannuation in July 2020.
