Mahesh Dixit appointed Director, Intelligence Bureau

The Government has gone by seniority in the appointment of the Director, Intelligence Bureau. The ACC has approved the appointment of Mahesh Dixit, Special Director, IB, as Director for a tenure of two years. He is a 1993-batch IPS officer of AP cadre. Dixit is considered an expert in counter-terrorism, internal security and intelligence operations.
