Major administrative reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir; 2 ACS among 49 IAS officers transferred UPDATED

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir the Lt. Governor has cleared the transfer of 49 IAS officers on Wednesday including two officers of the rank of Additional Chief Secretaries.

Those transferred include Shaleen Kabra, IAS (AGMUT: 1992), Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department who is also holding additional charge of the posts of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, J&K and Administrative Secretary, Estates Department has been entrusted with additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Revenue Department

Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma, IAS (AGMUT: 1994), Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Tourism Department (Additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Agriculture Production Department) is transferred and posted as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Agriculture Production Department.
