Major IPS reshuffle in Tamil Nadu

As many as 16 IPS officers have been transferred and posted to different places in Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, K Vannia Perumal has been appointed as DGP/Director of Civil Defence & Commandant General Home Guards, Chennai, while R Tamil Chandran was made Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, Chennai and Dr P K Senthil Kumari  is IGP/Additional Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai. Similarly, C Mageshwari has been appointed IGP/Commissioner of Police, Tirunelveli City by upgrading the post of DIG/COP, Tirunelveli City; K Joshi Nirmal Kumar as Inspector General of Police, Civil Supplies CID, Chennai; Disha Mittal as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Technical Services, Chennai; Abhishek Dixit as DIG/Joint Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, North Zone, Greater Chennai Police; Dr B Shamoondeswari as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Headquarters, in the office of the DGP/HOPF; T P Suresh Kumar as Superintendent of Police, Tenkasi District; E T Samson as Superintendent of Police, NIB CID, Chennai; S Jeyakumar as Superintendent of Police, Tiruvarur District; Dr Deepa Sathyan as Superintendent of Police/Assistant Inspector General of DGP/HOPF, Chennai in the office of the DGP/HoPF, Chennai; Dr K Prabhakar as Superintendent of Police, Karur District; D N Hari Kiran Prasad as Superintendent of Police, Coastal Security Group, Ramanathapuram; P Sundaravadivel is Superintendent of Police, The Nilgiris District and E Sundaravathanam was posted as Superintendent of Police, Kanniyakumari District.
