As many as 18 IAS officers have been given fresh assignments in Gujarat. Accordingly, Mrs Sunaina Tomar has been appointed as ACS, Higher & Technical Education with additional charge of Social Justice, while Pankaj Joshi was given the charge of ACS, Ports & Transport and Manoj Kumar Das is ACS, Chief Minister with additional charge of Home. Similarly, Dr Jayanti S Ravi has been appointed as ACS, Revenue; Dr Anju Sharma as ACS, Agriculture, Farmers' Welfare and Cooperation;  S J Haider as ACS, Energy & Petrochemicals; Jagdish Prasad Gupta as ACS, Tribunal Development; Dr T Natarajan as Principal Secretary, Finance; Rajeev Topno as Principal Secretary, Finance; Ms Mamta Verma as Principal Secretary, Industries & Mines; Mukesh Kumar as Principal Secretary, Primary & Secondary; Rajeev Topno as Chief Commissioner of State Tax; Dr S Murali Krishna as OSD to Commissioner, State Election Commissioner; Dr Vinod Ramachandra Rao as Commissioner of Transport; Anupam Anand gets charge of VC&MD, Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation; Rajesh Manjhu as Revenue Inspection Commissioner & Ex-officio Secretary, Revenue Department; Rakesh Shankar as Commissioner, Women & Child Development with additional charge of GAD Planning; K K Nirala as Secretary, Finance Expenditure and A M Sharma has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Governor of Gujarat.
