Major reshuffle of IPS officers in UP

As many as 28 IPS officers have been transferred and posted to different places. Accordingly, Pramod Kumar Tiwari has been appointed as DGP, Telecommunication while Alok Prasad will remain DGP, EOW and Virendra Kumar is DGP, CID. Similarly, G P Sharma has been appointed a Chairman, Police Recruitment and Promotion Board; Nira Rawat as ADG, Personnel, DGP, PHQ, Lucknow; Anju Gupta as DG, CID; S K Kaul as ADG, Logistic; Jasbir Singh s ADG, Rules; D P Shrivastava as DIG, PAC, Varanasi, Sector,  Sonia Singh as DIG, PTS, Meerut; Akhilesh Kumar Radheyshyam's transfers cancelled; Sanjay Kuamr as SP, Law and Order, PHQ, DGP; Neha Pandey as Special Secretary to Governor; Pushpanjali Devi as SP, Unnao; Kailash Singh as commandant, 34th Bt PAC, Varanasi; Akash Kulhari as SP, Sitapur; Mrigendra Singh as SP, Farrukhabad; Mohit Gupta as SSP, Kumbh Mela, Allahabad; Dinesh Pal Singh as Commandant 37th Bt PAC, Kanpur Nagar; Ratan Kant Pandey as SP, Kanpur rural; Punam as SP, PTS Meerut; Kuntal Kishore as SP, Amethi and Santosh Kumar Mishra as SP, Ambedkar Nagar; Sudhir Kumar Mishra as SP, Amroha; Pradeep Gupta as SP, Kaushambhi and Ashok Kumar Pandey was made Commandant 12th Bt Fatehpur.
