A 1992 batch IPS officer of MP cadre, Manish Shanker Sharma presently serving as Additional Director General of Police, has been conferred with the Padmashri R N Zutshi Memorial Medal, the highest award of the institution for his outstanding lifetime achievements in the field of public service. Mrs Sumitra Mahajan, Speaker of Lok Sabha awarded him at a glittering function held at the Daly College Indore. . The previous eminent recipients of the medal include former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh, former President of BCCI and cricketer Raj Singh Dungarpur, Internationally acclaimed surgeon Dr Chittaranjan Ranawat among others.
