Maximum DS/Director level posts are vacant in the Ministry of Defence (MoD). According to information under the Central Staffing Scheme, 10 posts of DS/Directors were vacant till April 30 this year. Deptt of Economic Affairs (DEA) in the Ministry of Finance was the second in the tally where 9 posts of DS/Directors were reported vacant during the same period.
