Meghalaya gets first native woman Chief Secretary
Ms. Rebecca Vanessa Suchiang has taken over the charge of the new CS, Meghalaya on Thursday. She is a 1989 batch IAS officer.She is the first-ever native female Chief Secretary of the state. She replaces M.S. Rao who retired on Sept 30.
