MHA issues third advisory to States in 18 months

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued a fresh advisory to States/UTs and directed to ensure mandatory action by police in cases of crime against women. MHA's advisory on October 9, 2020 has the references of earlier advisories issued in May, 2019, December, 2019, SOP for investigation and prosecution of rape against women issued by BPR&D and MHA letter issued on October 5, 2020 -in this regard.
