Ministry of Finance issues clarification regarding transport allowance to employees

The Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, has issued clarification on its website regarding grant of Transport Allowance to Central Government employees during nation-wide lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic, in view of several references received by the department regarding admissibility of the allowance as during this period various employees could not attend their offices.
