MNRE sets up Dispute Resolution Mechanism

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has set up a Dispute Resolution Mechanism to consider the unforeseen disputes that may arise in the implementation of contractual agreements and to deal with issues beyond the scope of contractual agreements between Renewable Energy (RE) Power Developers/ EPC Contractors and SECI/ NTPC/ NHPC/ SJVN and other Renewable Energy Implementing Agency designated by MNRE. The members of this Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC) include Retired IAS officers, M F Farooqui, Rajesh Bhushan and Kumar Alok.
