It is widely believed that Chairman of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) Guruprasad Mohapatra will be new Secretary, Civil Aviation, after the superannuation of R N Choubey on Feb 1. One source, however said that he may move to Petroleum Ministry as Secretary. Mohapatra is a 1986 batch IAS officer of TamilNadu cadre. Chaubey is being tipped to be Member of the UPSC.
